New campaign heading to Left 4 Dead
Great news for PC gamers, not so much for Xbox 360 owners though…
Valve has announced that a new campaign will be heading towards both the Xbox 360 and PC, titled “Crash Course”. The campaign takes place just after the first campaign “No Mercy” when you jump onto the helicopter, where you think all is well and your epic adventure is about to end.
However, Crash Course explains what happens between No Mercy and Death Toll. When you jump onto the helicopter, you fail to realize that the pilot has a slight case of zombie-itus. The new campaign is mainly meant for competitive online play, although obviously the single player and co-op (survival?) will also be supported for the event.
The good news? The content will be free on the PC. The bad news? It’s going to cost you on the 360 version, although they have yet to announce a price or a date for the new campaign.
Times like these I’m thankful for that PC version I picked up in a Steam sale many moons ago.
