The Matrix Online being terminated today
Another game being sacraficed to the depths of digital hell.
Today is the day The Matrix Online fans… The four year old MMO by Sony will be having it’s plug pulled today and it’s very doubtful that the MMO will be coming back to life after today. For any MMO to last this long is an achievement, especially with games like World of Warcraft and Free Realms (two ends of the scale; hardcore and casual) completely dominating the online gaming market.
All players who’ve had an active account at some point over the MMO’s 4 year life span will be able to login and download the latest client for the game. Everyone playing the dying game today will be instantly put to max level and given unlimited money to play around with.
The Matrix Online had it’s moment of glory, time to die my old friend.
