Star Wars The Force Unleashed to get an updated re-release. Preview Image

On Tuesday, I got the last few games left from my post Erasmus catch up. Among them was the very entertaining Force Unleashed. Well now it seems I should’ve waited as LucasArts have announced Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition. This new pack will include the original game and all previously released pieces of DLC. It will also include an upcoming DLC pack, which sees Starkiller travel to Tatooine and fight (!!!) Boba Fett. The big draw however, is the Sith Edition exclusive. This “What If?” mission has the Secret Apprentice take Darth Vadar’s place at the Emperors right hand and takes you to Hoth where you encounter (and apparently skewer) Luke Skywalker. Nice.

The only consolation was that the last DLC was nothing stellar so unless you’re a die hard Force Unleashed fan, you’re unlikely to feel sore. Still, as a complete package, it sounds pretty solid. No word yet on an exact release date, only that it will be arriving this side of Christmas.
