System specs for Champions Online revealed

If you don’t own a gaming PC, these PC specs are going to make your computer cry.

Cryptic have released the PC specs for it’s fantasy MMORPG, Champions Online. The beta has been running for a few months now and if you’ve been lucky enough to get into it, you’ll know that it’s an MMO which should be on your radar.

The specs for the game are quite high, I’ll warn you now. The minimum required graphics card is a Nvidea 7800GT and the recommend is a Nvidea 8800GT, the game does look great so these requirements are justified. Games out in September for the PC.

  • OS:Windows XP/Vista
  • CPU:2.5GHz Single Core or 1.8GHz Dual Core
  • Memory:1GB RAM
  • Video:NVIDIA GeForce 7800 / ATI Radeon X700 or HD / Intel Graphics with Dual Core
  • Sound:DirectX Compatible Soundcard
  • HDD:5GB Free Disk Space
  • Network:ADSL / Cable Modem
  • Disc:DVD-ROM
  • Driver:DirectX 9.0c

Recommended System Configuration

  • OS:Windows XP/Vista

  • Memory:2GB RAM or Better
  • Video:NVIDIA GeForce 8800 or Better / ATI Radeon HD3850 or Better

    Hmmm… So basically, my PC is literally the minimum spec for this. I’ll stick to WoW, I think. ;)
