Fable 3 is confirmed yet again “by accident”…

It’s as if Molyneux is leaving us gamers a really bad trail of hidden messages and hints. It didn’t take much to work out that Fable was going to become a trilogy…

A few months ago, Jonathan Ross, that renowned BBC presenter, accidentally let slip that Fable 3 was in production and that he was going to be doing voice work. He apologised the next day for his faux-pas, but I had the feeling that he was told to “make a mistake”, to give the gamers something to think about. A Molyneux idea, no doubt…

And recently, a man called Joshua Atkins got married. Congratulations are in order. He even got a mention in the New York Times, where they acknowledged him as the “lead video game designer for Fable III“. The NY Times does say “series”, not “game”, but you get the feeling that this is irrelevant.

Perhaps another faux-pas?

I say no.

It certainly wouldn’t come as a surprise if Lionhead were playing the “let’s leave a trail of clues, but deny it so we can say “I told you so! later” game. The mind of Molyneux works in mysterious ways, so it certainly is plausible.

Fable III is set to be released NEVER! (Until further notice…)
