We recently reported about a new major patch coming to Dawn of War II in the next few months, well even more information has hit Internet-land.The next major patch coming to Dawn of War II is set to go into a free public beta at the end of next month and it plans to bring new content and even more improvements to the games single player and online with the use of balancing units and performance fixes.

Well, to add to the fantastic list of new features already coming to the wonderful world of Dawn of War II comes in the form of a map maker/editor for anyone feeling creative. The maps will work for both single player skirmishes and online maps (how people will receives the maps created has yet been discusses – hopefully it’ll be an auto-download one you try to join the game lobby).

The map editor will grant you access to the usual map editor t’ings, such as; terrain editing, weather editing and placing objects like ruined structures etc. I like companies who support there games properly, it’s the right thing to do and Relic is one of the best at doing it – Company of Heroes says Hi!
