Behemoth’s fantastic Xbox Live Arcade Castle Crashers hits a record milestone. Behemoth have gave word via there developers blog that Castle Crashers has now officially hit 1 million players on it’s in-game leaderboards, this is a massive milestone for the game as it means that Castle Crashers is the fastest growing Xbox Live Arcade game, ever.

This means Castle Crashers which was delayed multiple times over it’s development for the Xbox Live service has beaten some of the best downloadable-only games around, such as the stupidly addictive Geometry Wars 2 and the legendary Smash TV. Well done Behemoth, you deserve it for the fantastic 4 player co-op slaughter-fest which even at it’s fairly high price point still beats games which are priced at 800 (and even 400!)

I wonder how many more it’d sell if it was at the normal 800 Microsoft points? I know many more people would of picked it up fo’sho.
