Now we all would love to head to E3 or Tokyo GS and hang with the big boys and play the latest titles. Problem is they are 1000s of miles away and we ain’t so rich :) Hell we can’t even afford to go to Leipsig! So how stoked were we when the lovely people at the PR company made us aware that this years GameCity (GameCity Squared) would be FREE! That’s right, everyones favourite price – Nada!

Festival director, Iain Simons, had this to say:

“GameCity represents a unique platform for the games community to step up as an important part of contemporary culture. We’d like to urge the developer and publisher community to get in touch with ideas, however improbable they might seem.”

The event is being held in lovely city of Nottingham (UK) from Tuesday 27th to Sunday 31st of October. Let us know if you are going and maybe, just maybe, we might all get together for a few shandys at the show – I feel a community video brewing ;)
