Mirror’s Edge : Exclusive DLC for PS3
A multiplatform release for sure and not a PS3 exclusive as was rumored earlier last week BUT in squashing these PS3 exclusive rumors Sony have inadvertently revealed that they will be getting exclusive DLC.
According to reports on Eurogamer, Sony went to squash rumors present on a German gaming stating that the title would now be PS3 exclusive. A statement from Sony on this matter reads as follows :-
“The game is multi-platform, although PlayStation has an exclusive marketing agreement with EA regarding the title,” said an official statement, “and exclusive downloadable content will be offered on the PlayStation Network.”
Now Dice are yet to comment but EA have stepped up and said (via IGN) that they are currently not in a position to reveal any news about DLC. So has Sony been premature or are EA and DICE trying to keep some favor with the XBox crowd for now?
Only time will tell for sure but will this sweeten the time limited DLC for GTA4 that PS3 owners ahve been moaning about?
